Thanks to everyone for attending the AGM at Steve's today. I understand that the paperwork was resolutely ploughed through, a variety of issues considered and the new committee elected. We hope to get the meeting minutes on the web this week. Congratulations to the team at the helm and here's to a great year ahead for each of us personally and to our club, the Caboolture Road Runners.

Thanks to our expert timekeeper, young Luke, here are the results from the real important stuff, the 8k race, and there were some very close outcomes:-

Francis took first place with an excellent sub handicap run, while Iain just pipped Dave by a mere 3 seconds. Interesting that most runners did not break their handicap but we do know that the course was an accurate 4k loop times two. As it is almost fully off road perhaps the surface and winding track slowed people down - or those damn handicaps are still working against most runners! Either way everyone enjoyed the run I'm told. Here is the overall results table to date, and don't forget it's best 4 races so the whole series is wide open until the very last round.
