Congratulations to Steve M on an outstanding improvement to slash 3 minutes 30 seconds off his handicap.  After a 55k training week, Steve M showed that if you want it you gotta work for it. Sean fought back doggedly to take second place and improve his overall position once again. Anja was a little off the pace today and seemed to struggle on a pretty tough cross country course courtesy of Team Haze.  Anja is the only runner who can wrest the overall lead from Sean.  If she can win at Race 7 then the series is hers - no pressure but Sean has finished on the podium in all his appearances this year bar one. Can he win the last event against the improving Steve M and put the result beyond doubt?  Laimon stayed focussed to finish second outright and third on handicap.  Bruce finished looking strong and recovered after the hard work of 100 miles at Glasshouse just a few weeks ago.  Unfortunately Dave and Iain took a scenic route but still finished at the pointy end.  Thanks to everyone who came along, and a special thanks to Team Haze for top notch hospitality.  The final race is scheduled for November 16 (I think) and tentatively planned off road at Toorbul.  Watch this space.  Good luck to everyone at the Bribie Beach Bash and don't forget Saturday October 18 at Somerset with Ron's Runners.
