With overall winners in the Sonomas run posting around 29 minutes for 8ks and under 15m in the 4k this popular annual event boasted another quality field of 250 runners.

The Egs returned fit and rejuvenated from their recent break in NZ to record placings in the 4k event.  Robyn took out her age category with a stunnning first place performance while Gundars snatched second in his.  Tamara ascended to the top of the the winners podium also taking gold in her category too.

In the 8k Anja continued from strength to strength with an excellent second place while relative newcomer Tahnee, also improving out of sight, stepped up for third place in her very competitive category.

Some other familiar faces in the field included Robbie Lofthouse, Schultzie and ever green Alberto Greco from Bribie who this year became an octagenarian (I think it means something to do with triathlons?).

And congratulations to Dave and Courtney who competed in race two of the Sanctuary Cove event on Sunday.  Dave took first in his age category with a blistering 17:48 for 5ks to make it two from two starts, and Courtney sliced 45 seconds off her time in race one.
