Praying for a good race or just trying to keep warm?  Robyn and Gundars are well placed in their respective categories at the Point Cartwright Series, Race 3 of which is scheduled for this Saturday 26 June.  Sad they can't make it to the Club Handicap which is also on that day at Woodford.

Also did a search in results for the Griffin clan and my browser fell over!  Leah, Thomas, Brennan and Robyn all feature and most of 'em are in the placings!  Also racing there Saturday so good luck folks.

And the Flying Griffs also star in the just completed Sunshine Coast Cross Country series too, with Mum and Dad both taking third place in their age category for the 6k.  Brennan raced above his age and ran well against much older kids.

Finally, Coach Dave clean swept or clean sweeped or vacuumed the Super Sport Series at Runaway Bay with another win in the 5k and a well earned 17:30.  

"I was pretty happy with that" Dave said, "It's what I was aiming for when I started jogging again back in September" [2009 after surgery].  Always leading by example and an inspiration to us all.  Congratulations Dave.  Courtney also ran well throughout the series, and keeps improving.
