Dave Spence
Senior Coach

Dave is our senior coach and has been helping Caboolture Road runners to achieve their potential for many years. Dave regularly places in his age group at races from 3k up to the marathon. Each week Dave works with CRR runners looking to maximise performance. These sessions can be very demanding. Dave can also advise on stretching, injury prevention and management, diet, running gear, and set specific programs for members to achieve particular running goals.

Matt Klibbe

Matt has been a coach with Caboolture Road Runners for several years now. He comes from an extensive working background in biomechanics and sports medicine. Matt loves coaching and watching athlete’s achieve their goals. He is a highly accomplished runner and athlete himself, running several sub-3hr marathons and an Australia age group representative for Cross (Off Road) Triathlon. Matt has special interest in running form and technique, as well as Strength and Conditioning for runners. If you’re out and about on the weekend, you’ll probably come across Matt out running with his dog, Pippa.

Connie Isherwood

Connie has 20+ years as a high performance gymnastics coach and strength & conditioning coach for various other sports. Since then Connie has worked as a running coach and personal trainer with a focus on strength & conditioning and injury rehab/prevention. Connie loves coaching/teaching & gets an enormous buzz (and a lot of joy) out of seeing others achieve a goal or make a break-through.
